Stepping sideways, Emmeline slid between the food vendors' carts to get behind them to the side alley. While not a unsavory area, the alley was narrow since it was only used for passage between two streets. At the end she stopped, a glance behind before scanning the other choosing her moment to cross the street to a door. She moved swiftly between the traffic and opened the door as soon as she arrived at it, no hesitation. It allowed passage to an underpass two streets over into a housing district. And that well placed secret let her shake anyone who might have followed her.
A few more short blocks and the house she needed (part of the historic trust of homes) was in front of her. She stepped in, showed her muggle membership card, and handed over a few euros. The access to the garden (her main purpose) allowed her to bypass the tour space and turn, finding a spot which she had used many times between two bushes on the other side of the house around the back. This gap, when tapped by a wand, opened a straight access into the basement area where a large mushroom room was located under the foundation.
While the garden was great and filled, it was the mushroom room she needed.
Quite a variety of muggle based plants could be found in London on the rooftops and back home gardens, but most people (including wizards) were clueless about the magical varieties found in the London neighborhoods. One person she knew who always purchased them loved the fat red toadstool, not that she knew what he did with them! Stopping by twice a week when she was in town during rain usually got her a few extra galleons through the month. She gathered half a pound in a bag, caught a few leaping toadstools and a few staghorns for herself and left.
She sipped from her flask in the yard for a minute, about to head on when she spotted someone who did not quite match the usual tourist. Glad she had shut the door behind her she did not think she had been seen till she was drinking. Raising an eyebrow she waited for the other to speak first...

{ } Molly was exhausted beyond belief. Fred and George's recent arrival had been a surprise; they'd come three weeks early. Thankfully the boys were fine, but their home had been a bit hectic after the birth, especially because they weren't completely mentally prepared for it. Arthur had offered to stay at home with the children (though his parents were coming to help so he wouldn't be alone, shocker) while Molly was offered the opportunity to get out of the house. While what she really wanted to do was catch up on some much-needed sleep, she imagined that a bit of a walk wouldn't be too terrible of an idea. She dressed in a pair of black leggings and a loose-fitted blouse, adding a matching bow to her hair. She looked fairly presentable considering she'd given birth just a few weeks ago, especially when she felt like being in sweatpants and a t-shirt. Molly kissed Arthur goodbye, practically unstuck Charlie from round her legs, then slipped out the door, listening to Charlie wail from inside. It touched her heart a bit to know her children missed her when they were apart, but dear Merlin did she not miss the sound of the crying as she distanced herself from their flat. Looking at homes was a past-time Molly had seemed to come to enjoy, especially since her and Arthur were finally nearing the possibility at purchasing their first home. They certainly needed it with all of the children they had, but it was more than that. Molly was a family-oriented sort of person. She, mostly, enjoyed the life she was creating with Arthur and their children. But, when you had such a life, one wanted to set a foundation for it, particularly in a home you can call your own for years and years. That was the dream she had in mind - raising her children in a place she could mark their heights for years to come and look at them after they'd up and gone and grown up. Molly wanted a place of security, a place to call their home. They were on their way to accomplishing that dream, it just hadn't been claimed yet. She found herself in London, in a neighborhood unfamiliar. It was quaint, she had to admit. Molly didn't really have a preference if they lived in a Muggle or Wizard community, though she did realize that having so many children might present a problem when it came to preserving the secrecy of their magical status. Bill had recently expressed an interest in Quidditch, after all, and Arthur was always muddling around with Muggle things he could get his hands on. The last thing they needed was for Arthur to steal a neighbor's cat and send it flying through the air for the world to see. No...perhaps they should remain in a Wizarding community. Still, browsing the various houses and admiring their shapes, colors, and other such attributes gave Molly a sense of excitement. It gave her ideas, as well. Arthur hated when Molly got ideas, mostly because it cost him money and a headache to top. Molly couldn't help it, though. She knew she was dangling a carrot in front of her own face by looking at homes they could probably never afford, yet it was enjoyable. There was no denying that. It wasn't expected, however, when she caught sight of someone familiar - Emmeline Vance. Molly immediately maneuvered her way to where she was, instantly smelling alcohol cutting through the fresh breeze. "Fancy seeing you here," Molly said gleefully, smiling at the girl. They weren't exactly friends but they were, of course, allies. Being sided with the Order and knowing its dealings meant you became acquainted with people you might not otherwise have ever met. Emmeline was much younger than Molly, and her demeanor was one of stoic and frankly down, so as much as Molly felt for her, it was a bit hard to get to know her. Still, that never stood in the way of Molly trying to befriend people before. And considering they were on the same side of things, all she could do was attempt to be there for her. "Come here often?" she mused. @shava444 MADE BY VEL OF GS

As she saw her, Vance's mind went through a few tidbits of details like throwing a card up in front of her eyes in a filing system. Hadn't-- Hadn't she just had kids? While she knew next to nothing about kids, mother hood, or any fussy kid stuff, she was FAIRLY sure some time was needed after the healers came! Her expression one of surprise, she turned more fully to Weasley, her face shifting to a raised eyebrow. Was something up that dire she had been sent to--?
"Uh, fancy seeing you here too? Why are you here, after all. Didn't I hear you were..." Sheesh how did a competent adult suddenly sound like a bumbling fool just because of a subject? Vance closed her eyes shaking her head visibly before opening her piercing eyes back up. "I had heard you would be indisposed for awhile." Direct. better. Surely Order business-- no wait, she would have been sent a signal before this surely. This was hardly a magical neighborhood after all.
"Only when in London. Quick trip. The, uh gardens have a few special things about them, but usually I'm too busy with business and tracking to spare the time." Well now. She was hardly a garden person so anyone who knew her would find that odd, but there it was. She didn't expect anyone to be here who wasn't in on this particular trick. Which she had paid well for last year to overlook a shipment that Dumbledore didn't give a flip about anyway.
She took another sip and was about to-- no no, that one she knew. She screed the cap down. "I guess the question on the tip of my tongue is why you are here right now actually..."

{ } It was apparent to her that Emmeline Vance had no idea that a fellow Order member would show up here, of all places. It was also apparent that, aside from her shock, she wasn't fond of it, either. To be frank, Molly had zero inclination as to what was going on, nor did she really care. If Vance was doing something she wasn't supposed to - well, that was up to her. She was an adult and capable of making her own decisions. And while Molly cared about the well-being of her friends, even acquaintances that she knew from the Order, she didn't want anyone thinking she was so curious about others' business that she'd get into it or tattle about it. She chuckled, shaking her head. "Giving birth isn't a death sentence, ya know?" Molly said, grinning. "The twins are doing fine, I'm fine. It's been a few weeks now and honestly? I'm exhausted and just needed to get out of the house. Five kids will...well, it'll really take a lot out of you," she said, dwelling on the thought of her chaotic household as she looked at the ground. Molly loved her children, she really did, but it was a lot. It really was. She wanted more kids, too, but at that point Molly wasn't sure she could do it. Molly ran a hand through her hair. The weight on her heart tempted to reduce her to a puddle, but she sucked it up, looked back at Vance, and smiled her usual smile. "As for what I'm doing here specifically, well, Arthur and I have been looking for houses, as you might have heard through the grapevine. We've been looking for a while now, still not ready but...sometimes it's nice to just browse. I like to walk different neighborhoods - it gives me some peace from the chaos of all the crying at home," Molly said, smiling. "It's our dream to finally own our own home. Hopefully it'll happen soon." Molly paused, looked around, then raised an eyebrow. "What about you?"@shava444 MADE BY VEL OF GS

The idea of childbirth was not one Emmeline touched on in her mind and being reminded of it had particular complications for her, essentially a change in her own concept of who she was. Only Dumbledore had any idea however of those identity issues and the wince on her face most would have taken for the open subject. Vance was not a person to air her situation however with anyone and far less trusting considering her buried alive issues non top of that! Wince was the only reaction on her face however, no softening at the thought of children. Which made her words probably seem a little odd to others.
"Good to hear. I hear about someone having kids, I naturally assume I would not see them for weeks after." Kids wore you out? Her expression and comprehension of that was blank, never planning on dealing with them in the first place. "I have no idea. Never really deal with children. They aren't usually found in criminal situations much which I had thought everyone was generally happy about." To Vance that would have been a nightmare to deal with, some screaming snot-nosed kid in the middle of a nest of dark wizards!
She would be tempted to kill them by accident to avoid the whole situation afterwards not that she would be happy about it.
Now she frowned slightly as if working around something she did not know what to do with. "Tiring? I would imagine chaotic for sure. Don't you put them in a fenced in area with toys and then go away?" She clearly didn't understand the situation at all, despite her parents. She didn't remember her toddler time, it was after that dominated her experiences, her father's emotional and caring nature had always made things so smooth. It was with a thankful delight (for Emmeline that was) that she seized on the house subject, her expression opening up with a sense of great relief. "Ah! Yes! This entire area is full of a veritable garden of different historical styles! While I don't do much house hunting, There are some marvelous hidden magical architecture around here as well that I do use frequently."
Being asked about her house situation? Well, that was new. With anyone else she might have suspected at once a prying mindset, but not with Molly Weasley who she might not be close to, but she suspected her of nothing involving trickery. "Oh no, no houses for me. I need open space. I live in a tree." She didn't see that as odd, after all some wizards lived in towers far away and many of the places she had raided were out in nature away from prying eyes. "I wouldn't want the expense in upkeep anyway not to mention buying. I'm impressed you cna pull together those sorts of funds in the first place."

{ } "That's fair," Molly said, nodding. Particularly if people weren't familiar with newborns and the like, but she thought most people assumed new mothers would hide away in their homes for weeks on end. Molly wasn't the sort of person for that. She craved nature, peace, and a sense of wonder. She wanted to maintain her own independence despite having children. It was, notably, getting harder, though. It was easier to get someone to watch one or two children, but five? She knew her escapades without them would be slim. She chuckled. Vance was funny. "Yeah, I think so, too," she remarked, about her comment of children not being involved in the darker sort of things. Molly wasn't oblivious; there were children who did get involved in some things, particularly by being forced or guided by their parents. Still, it wasn't like the Order was going to show up and see a couple of seven-year-olds sporting illegal wands and doing dark magic. That just simply didn't happen. Molly laughed once more, shaking her head. "Bit more complicated than that, dear. So I've got Bill who is eight and Charlie, six, so neither of them can just be put in a play pen. They sort of roam the house and though they're pretty smart, they're still kids - gotta keep a close eye on them or they'll disappear or break something. Percy is two but honestly he's the easiest right now - he'll sit and read or draw for hours if you let him. But the twins, Fred and George, well, they're babies, obviously. They take a lot of time and care," she said, then quickly looked away. Talking about her children made her miss them - especially with the crazy hormones she was experiencing after giving birth. She could tell, though, that Vance wasn't particularly fond of children, nor of talking about them, so she cleared her throat and put more emphasis into their blooming conversation of house-hunting. "Ah, that's nice to hear! See I'm not a huge designer or anything like that so I don't necessarily know the terminology and all for houses, I just sort of know what I like aesthetically, things like that," she rambled. She listened to her note her own living situation and nodded. Molly wasn't one to judge. "Honestly? That sounds fun," Molly said, chuckling. When she said something about the funds, she sighed. "We've been saving for six years now. Still have a little ways to go but...it's hard renting a flat when you have five children, plus I think we want one more so...I'd really like to have a home for all of us. I guess it's silly but I just want to have that true home for my kids to come back to when they're grown, a home I can have made a home and know that's where I raised them, loved them...the dream, I guess," she explained, then bit her lower lip. Saying it out loud made it sound more romanticized of a notion than reality. But, for Molly, it was a dream - something she hoped she could make come true for her family's sake. @shava444 MADE BY VEL OF GS

The two women could not have looked different at the moment. Molly in her housewife-like simplicity and Vance in her...all black outfit were two different sorts of characters, though both near ages. Though Molly was much older, Emmeline's face gave off a certain haunted quality which matched her all black and depressed edge. Talking about kids. Kids! If she hadn't been maintaining a disguise, Em would have laughed out loud. Surely no one would ever even leave her NEAR kids! Molly's chuckle caused her to double take at that having worked though.
Still, they did have a background connection. Out here in a muggle rich environment was still for the two witches secluded feeling. Behind and off to the entrance area, a muggle woman in bright red floral (Em would have almost winced) exclaimed quite loudly about the flowers. Vance's eyes flashed over Molly's shoulder a moment before deciding it wasn't a purposeful distraction and came to Molly's face. She did have to be careful after all. "Well, I mean not yet at least for me. Who knows what weirdness I will run into here though, it is after all London."
Her eyebrows went up. "Seriously? Oh that sounds far too distracting for me. I'm glad keeping the world population isn't up to me, I think I'd lose kids in a heartbeat at that number." She nodded and then despite herself took more interested as she slipped the flask back away in a pocket. "So you just...randomly go house looking in the historic areas? Without your husband? Or does Arthur have the same interest in homestyles?" She had the impression the two did match each other well, even as Arthur seemed to have an unhealthy interest in muggle things she had already noticed.
That hadn't been hard to spot. Practically a major personality trait.
Molly made herself suddenly and unexpectedly interesting. Emmeline refocused on her with a raised eyebrow. Living in a tree was fun? That was not really the answer she had expected! While she wasn't planning on being a show off of anything she dealt with normally, she pondered what the reaction would have been if she had been interested in showing her. "You have an interesting concept of fun, Weasley. I guess that's what happens when one has kids around usually, the idea of-- oh wait, you thought I meant tree house did you?" Comprehension lit her features! "I meant inside the tree trunk actually, but I can see how the other seemed natural to jump to."
Her eyes widened, her face tilting a tony fraction in reaction. "Six...years?" Although she had no idea of real estate in the slightest, the idea that they hadn't saved enough in that long made the price something she would never even dreamed! "Goodness, I had no idea it was that expensive! How much is the average house?" Despite herself she looked suddenly interested.

{ } Molly nodded, shrugging. "You never really can tell what will happen, though it's a disturbing thought," she answered. Surely children muddled up in darker sorts of acts wasn't a prospect that anyone wanted to think of. What if you had to, because there was no other option, kill a child due to it killing others? Surely that would take a hard stomach. "If you ask other people they'll probably say I'm the one keeping the population up," she chuckled, though she knew it was true. Most people had two or three kids, perhaps four and that was considered plenty. Molly and Arthur were now on five, and they wanted at least one more to add to their bunch. Of course at the moment Molly would probably be against having another, just for the simple fact that she was so tired and needing of a break, but at the end of the day they loved their large family they were creating. She certainly could acknowledge it wasn't for everyone, though. She seemed to have peak an interest in Emmeline as she asked about the house searching. "Well I don't go in the houses or anything like that, more just..browsing the neighborhood, looking at the homes from the outside kind of thing. He does it on his own, as well, sometimes, but we also do it together. It just so happened that today I got...well, a little overwhelmed at home. So, he offered to watch all the kids while I got some air, and that led me here."Molly could have smacked herself. "Of course you didn't mean...in an actual tree," she said, almost defeated, then chuckled at herself. "Even in a tree trunk, I think that's pretty cool. Much more interesting than a regular flat or something, right?" she chimed. Molly would never have the opportunity to do something so cool and independent like living on her own in some weird, random place like a village in Romania or something. Emmeline was blessed in that regard. Aside from being in the Order, she really could do just about anything with her life that she wanted. Nodding, Molly saw she got through to Vance in that house hunting wasn't all the glory it was cracked up to be. Granted, they were on the poorer side which is what had taken them so long. Coupled that with all of their children and, well, it was hard to make ends meet and also save. Then there was Christmas, birthdays...there was always something. "It's something in the range of 51,980 Galleons, depending on what you're looking for," she said, shrugging. "That's about what we're looking for anyway, since we need something decently sized and we'd love some land."@shava444 MADE BY VEL OF GS

Yes and she wasn't going to let this woman know to watch the graveyards for weirdness either. That last thing a family needed to be doing was thinking grim thoughts in that way. Emmeline severely doubted she was the only one to have disappeared that way. The other thought however she tossed off without hesitation. "You can have my share. Someone has to I guess." As much as she had loved her father dearly, she was not able to bring a child any comfort; it just wasn't in to her to even begin.
She motioned out past the garden wall as she said "More so, there are a few hidden bits you may not have noticed, a passageway just down the block hidden from the muggle population, and a few bits of architecture hidden even among these homes. Just goes to show the way people still wanted to be in the middle of everything hundreds of years ago." The way Weasley reacted did bring a slight smile to her lips. "More for not being found then comfort, but it suits my needs which are few. Dumbledore was the first who suggested it to me."
Vance's eyes boggled a bit.
"Morgana's garters..." She shook her head then gestured to mean the surrounding neighborhood "So all of these freaking people in London-- Well, bless their furry arses." The mind boggled. Yeah, spending that sort of money would never be hers for sure! The very idea made her even firmer against the idea of ever settling down!

{ } "I'll gladly take it," Molly said, beaming. Even if being a mother to so many children was exhausting, she loved it and would cherish the title of mum forever. As Vance explained some of the architecture and cool details - some of which she had, in fact, not noticed - Molly's eyes looked around them. To think there were so many small intricacies that she hadn't known about was astounding. It just showed how much care people put into making sure things stayed hidden or remained well-kept secrets. Like mysteries waiting to be found out, wondering if anyone would find them. She nodded at her explanations, then chuckled as Vance mentioned who's idea it really was. "Of course Dumbledore had a hand in it."When she reacted to Molly telling her the median price of homes, Molly sighed, nodding. "Oh yeah, it's a bit ridiculous. Honestly if we didn't have so many children I'd probably be okay staying in a flat for a while, but...I think it's endearing to have children all grow up in one home. At least, I hope it'll be worth it," she explained. Maybe they would never have a large mansion or lavish grounds to stroll, but as long as they had each other and a roof over their head, Molly was certain they would be happy. She gulped before asking, "I'm not sure what business you have left around here but would you possibly want to get a drink or lunch or something? I think I'm feeling a little light-headed and might need something in me to keep me going." Molly wasn't to the point of passing out or anything of that nature, but breast-feeding took a bit of energy out of you, especially to twins, and the fact was that she may have forgotten to eat before leaving the house. Something to fuel her was definitely needed in the foreseeable future. @shava444 MADE BY VEL OF GS

She nodded. "He's involved in about everything. Sometimes I think people thought he would stay focused inside the school, but jeeze. Nothing could contain him." Only people's conceptions really. They kept mentioning architecture and she really did feel like it was insane for housing to cost so much; but clearly people could afford it! "I'll never have anywhere near that. Craziness that so many people have managed it then."
She tapped her teeth. She had learned some interesting facts today so far. And with that thought made she knew she needed to go do some investigating of her own about finances when Wealsey suddenly asked her something which brought her some alarm! "What! Are you serious?" She frowned at her, thinking Arthur would have a conniption if he heard about that. "Ah yeah there's a place just down the block. Come on." Taking her by the arm they exited back through the home to the street and then back down the street.
Emmeline rolled her eyes over the situation. "You've done this enough you should know better then to just head out without precautions. And there's only one place nearby in this district too. Just warning, it's a muggle place." She led her to a small store, one of those convenience places you found all over the place which didn't look anything like a food place (it was a gas fueling place where they took orders for oil and kerosene). Vance led her to the back after waving at the counter guy saying "Right back here, don't argue." She walked up to a grimy odd looking phone.
Picking up the ear piece she put it to her ear and dialed the circle. It clicked around and then stopped and you could hear the bad buzz through the ear. "Charlie! Em. Got a sick woman out here, just had kids the other day whose about to fall over. Need to pile some food in her real quick, like snappy. Yeah I know I know be a gent...Thanks mate. pop the door." She hung it up saying "Weird place, but it's new enough the magic community hasn't found out about it yet." A panel showing some poster suddenly popped off the wall and Emmeline pulled her guest through the door.
It was good she had mentioned it was a bit weird.
Emmeline walked in ignoring the oddness of the place straight to the bar area where a guy was cleaning dishes. The blue rippling lights gave it a weirdly underwater look which was distracting, but it was clearly not open either, with plastic containers of dishes and stuff laid out across the bar and a few chairs upside down on the tables from where the floor had last been cleaned. The man was looking concerned. "We'll be out of your way in a jif, Charlie, but she had to sit down cause she was going to fall over." The man, Charlie, nodded asking "I got's some pie and leftover shepherd. That work?" She nodded. "Aye that'd hit the spot, the shepherd please. Just her though some water'd be a treat you got it."
The man stepped through a door headed into some back area leaving them alone a moment as Emmeline guided her to a seat at the bar.

{ } Molly smiled as Emmeline mentioned Dumbledore's adventures outside of the castle. The man was always somewhere, having his hand in something. It wasn't a bad thing, though. It meant his information, specifically for The Order, could usually be relied on. When she mentioned she'd never have a house like that, Molly chuckled. "You never know," she chimed. She didn't really expect Emmeline to get so...worked up about her situation, honestly. Molly should have ate earlier, surely, but she felt okay besides a little light-headed. When Em took her by the arm and guided her off, she smiled. It was like having an actual friend. "Best we not tell him," she said when her husband's name was mentioned. Molly nodded. It being a muggle place was fine, really. She was glad she had the notice, though, because one had to be careful. "Alright, alright," she laughed nervously, heading in the direction that Vance instructed. Molly leaned back slightly onto the wall behind her as Emmeline talked on some sort of device, seemingly to herself. She turned towards Emmeline as she noted the fact of newness about the place. "Ah, well I guess I'll be one of the first witches to see it so that's cool," she said, smiling weakly. Molly was trying to be a good sport. She couldn't ignore the decor of the place as they entered. It was so cool-looking, with its underwater feel and different elements of newness. Molly smiled and slowly followed Emmeline, barely listening to her brief conversation with the man behind the bar noted as Charlie. Really, Molly didn't care what she ate, she just knew that she needed to get her sugars back up. "I really appreciate you being so nice," Molly said as she found her seat at the bar, shifting in it nervously. Emmeline really was a kind soul. The two of them were barely friends, and yet she was treating her like they'd known each other all their life. It was something that Molly surely would never forget. @shava444 MADE BY VEL OF GS

She shook her head at the thought. "Even if I had the money I'd have spent it on a thousand other thing I need done or people tracked. Money is only a means to an end. Housing? I'd give that up to nail a few bastards in particular." A grim look. No one in the Order had any idea of those and she would keep them close to her heart always. "Pffft, doesn't matter. The few bounties I get don't pay that well in the first place." And no one set bounties on the Order's enemies. Shame.
While she didn't know much about kids or birth sh!t, she had always had the impression pregnant women had to be careful for awhile after even under a healer's care. So her sudden concern was more along the lines of nerves and not wanting to be blamed by others for not having taken care of a problem when it was presented. Maybe she was a bit over handed, but the bartender had the same nerves upon hearing the situation. Since Emmeline acted more like a guy then most women just said why she was nerves now!
Molly spoke about how nice she was being and she shrugged, running her hand up into her hair partly in a show of anxiety at the moment. "Eh, don't want Arthur coming after me with a club later. Gotta protect myself." The pot pie was out a short bit after she said this and put in front of Weasley as the bartender got a glass of water from the hose behind the bar. "Thanks Charlie, didn't want her fainting on the street. Her hubs would be after me for that for sure, you're a life safer." Charlie grinned, though his glances at the stranger were careful as much as Vance's were.
